CIA Internships for Electrical / Computer Engineering Students
The CIA is offering a student trainee program for motivated undergrads to serve internships in a team environment working with customers and network engineers to design, develop, and implement new network architectures and enhancements to the Agency’s networks.
Reqs: Students should be pursuing undergraduate degrees in Electrical or Computer Engineering with emphasis in networks. Students should have computer proficiency, good interpersonal and communication skills, some working knowledge of network topologies and protocols and the ability to work in a team environment. Interns generally are required to work either a combination of one semester and one summer internship or two 90-day summer internships.
All applicants must successfully complete a thorough medical and psychological examination, a polygraph interview, and an extensive background investigation. US citizenship is required.
To be considered for Agency employment, applicants must generally not have used illegal drugs within the last 12 months.
